Discovering the Benefits of Energy Healing and Chakras for Your Mind, Body, and Spirit
This quote has been an anchoring thought for me as I notice the pendulum swing of Energy from last summer. I feel the intensity of this shift from the stagnancy of last year to a bursting forward. As this Energy continues out of hibernation, many of us are searching for clarity and direction in all areas of life- personally, professionally, and relationally.
This is when Energy Balancing along the Chakras can be a crucial part of healing on levels- physical, mental/emotional, and spiritual. Chakras are defined as “wheels” or “disks” in Sanskrit that are meant to move and pulse or spin. These Energy centers have condensed nerve endings and major organs.
All Energy is designed to move and if it remains stagnant that is when dis-ease appears in the body and/or mind.
When Energy in these chakras are flowing smoothly, we then become open to greater possibilities. We can discover new ideas that provide clarity and direction for all areas of our life. I invite you to spend some quiet time clearing any old stories that are no longer serving your Highest Good.
Below is a list of affirmations associated with each chakra, say them aloud or to yourself as you imagine the associated color of each chakra spinning brightly.
Root Chakra- I am grounded. I am safe and secure.
Sacral Chakra- I am sensual. I flow like water.
Solar Plexus- I am empowered. I digest all things with ease.
Heart Chakra- I am compassionate. I give and receive love.
Throat Chakra- I am expressive. I speak my Truth.
Third Eye Chakra- I am intuitive. I am connected to the Divine.
Crown Chakra- I Am.
There are many different energy healing techniques that can be used to balance the chakras. Some of the most common include:
Reiki: A form of energy healing that involves the use of light touch or floating hands to channel healing energy to the body.
Sound healing: The use of sound frequencies, such as crystal singing bowls or tuning forks. Since we are mostly water the vibration can help to re-synchronize and balance the chakras and promote healing.
